Abstract
- Promoting credit-bearing service-learning courses is a strategic direction of the University. This project aims to develop a credit-bearing service-learning course for students to acquire both knowledge and experience in teaching science during their undergraduate study.
- The service-learning course will consist of the following:
- pre-service training
- service planning
- chemistry teaching internship at secondary schools
- student reflection and sharing
- This service-learning course will promote student engagement in teaching development by involving senior students with teaching experience to assist in pre-service training and preparation of course material.
- Students can explore their career path in science education through this service-learning course.
- This service-learning course will strengthen our relationship with the education sector through continuous partnership.
